you are officially an albertan fisherman.

If you want a walleye to eat head east or west, out of province.

If you want pickeral to eat head to ontario.

If you want dore to eat, head to quebec.

Best bet is the superstore.

No mercury in any alberta lakes? I don't think so.

Go to my wild alberta ,consumption warnings...

There's a list of prohibited lakes ....The good eating season is over..

Their mushy now ,slimy ,muddy tasting yuk...Spring is best ...

No matter how you phrase this question ,I doubt anybody catching
Keeper walleye is going to speak up, I know I'm not .....gonna
Speak up...

Costco lake would be the best place IMO, it's a walk in location and the best fishing is at the backside. I find the Mackenzie king wobbler in red will usually get you a couple keepers. Good luck

unless you are consuming massive amounts of fish from the waterbodies every week the small amount of mercury will not harm you.

Sometimes I think the grass is greener out west .....sometimes I think of moving south....then I read threads like this....and decide I will stay in north....the bugs are plentiful...but so are the fish:sHa_shakeshout:

The walleye in this province are so full of mercury that the only people that eat them are easterners.

Mercury is a heavy metal affects the nervous system and you can see what happens.

Where did this mercury come from? Global Warming is the only answer.

Or: the late Ralph Klein used to dump old thermometers into the watersheds.

Don't listen to those geochemists. They will tell you that mercury is naturally occurring in our water sheds. What the heck do they know?

Yah the warnings are just fear mongering on the governments part. :snapoutofit:
