Fished it a few days ago and hit two pulling wooly buggers in the lake and caught one in the pond. Very little surface action on both. Seems to have been pounded. One bigger fish kept surfacing to keep us interested:sHa_shakeshout:

Rainbow and cutthroat trout, but they're both usually over fished and near empty by this time of the summer.

Yep, fish are in there but certainly it seems there are less fish in both lakes this year. Could just be me but the surface activity the day I was there was minimal and it was a nice calm evening with insect activity.

Last weekend I landed 15 and released 12 rainbows, the smallest one was around 10". So, I think there is still enough fish in the pond. I don't know about the lake at the campground, don't like fishing there.

Any cutties or brookies?
