Go with as much hp as you can put on the boat according to the ratings sticker.

You can always use a bigger engine on smaller water, but it's tough to go the other way with it.

A friend has a 10' with a 9.9 and it will not plane out with 2 people aboard. I run a 20 on a 12' Seamax Ocean and it does very well. Tops out at about 35kph.

20 hp will pack plenty of punch and move that raft along in the strongest currents and won't break your bank account or back.

I agree with the 20HP on that boat. I just got rid of mine this spring but it would clip along on plane with two fellas in it no prob

I have a 20hp on my Seamax its about the right size, my boat was able to take a 35hp and im glad a stayed aroung the 100lb weight of the Honda 20hp.

I would agree if you can justify going a little bigger its nice having the ponys to push a few extra people/gear around and not feel like your working the hell out of the motor to get up on plane.

I have a 10'4" Zebec that weighs about 110lbs with floor put together and I have a Johnson seahorse 15hp and it has no problem planing with two people so I'm sure 20 would be nothing short of perfect. By the way Zebec make a great boat and seem to stand behind there product and are located right here in Edmonton. Well worth the money for me. No regrets. I've been down the NSR lots and no problems. Inflatables rule hands down for small watercrafts.

Seamax 380HD with 20HP 4 stroke easy gets 2 adults and 2 small kids and some gear on plane and goes ~ 20mph on calm water.
