TIPS: Slave Lake this weekend!

Hey guys,

I'm heading to Slave Lake next weekend for some Pikes and Walleyes fishing and I was wonderin what should be my lucky lure in order to get the trophy?

I guess jigs would be good for both walleyes and pikes and rapalas for pikes. Anything else?

Where on the lake are you going to be fishing?

On the west end of the lake (Shaw's point, Little Grassy Point, all the way to Spruce Point) I've always had awesome luck with White double tail jig for walleye, 5 of diamonds or yellow jig for pike.

The other end around Slave Lake Townsite, I've had better luck with rattlin rap or shad rap rs for walleye, red devil for pike.
