Wow great pics! Caught my first walleye on the fly recently at PCR. Trolling green cone head wooly buggers worked well. I can't seem to catch any lake whitefish, tried at Travers before.

Good stuff, David!
Pretty brave of you to juggle walleyes; they got way to many poky & slicey parts to be trying to catch! :)

LOL, funny you say that. I took my brother in law and niece and nephew to PCR about a month ago and he kept dropping them in the rocks as he was scared to grab them. I got a little PO'ed at him and basically said if you are scared to touch a fish then you shouldn't be fishing for them. I think he felt his manliness was being challenged and made a bit more of an effort to handle them properly instead of flinging them out of his hand like a little kid.

Good on you Calgary guy! I've seen a few dead walleye at PCR I suspect because of rough handling. Makes me cringe when I see them bashing against the rocks when some people catch them at shore. But yeah they are pretty pokey!
