Hit up the nsr tonight for a couple hours this evening. Caught the ever so rare nsr sauger that was the darkest I've ever seen. Lots of walleye but lost all the big girls, black jigs were working the best and when I wanted to relax I used bait and they were taking minnows as well. The fish are starting to fatten up
Sorry still no pics until I figure the iPhone picture thing out, get out and enjoy it.

lol, so it goes straight from the toilet to the river...... crazy man, I would have thought there would be sometype of waste treatment plant or something...... :thinking-006:


The river is one of albertas cleanest watersheds , absolutely a huge myth that the river is dirty, it has been noted that the river has not been this clean in over 110 years !

Naturally occurring high mercury content is the only reason the fish are not safe to eat, but with out that it would be fine to eat, better then any other lakes in alberta !
