I've always wondered what the joke about frank lake is, is it that it's a swamp for ducks with no fish actually in it?

Used to be a secret but since the internet its rare to get a pike over 35 pounds or brown trout over 12. Still some left you just need to hunt them down.

My Iphone is really just a super expensive alarm clock. Just saw the picture as I was setting my alarm for work.

Too bad someone didn't dredge out ol'Frank during a past drought and let the pike get a footing on reclaiming that big brown slough.

Oh Well.

It must have been a very fun fight on that rod, even dinker pink salmon and ol'chums made it double over,, it's as about as flexy as an 8/9 weight fly rod.
If it breaks on a fish, I hope the fish is 65"+.

Frank Lake is a restored wetland located 6 km (3.7 mi) east of High River, Alberta, 50 km (31 mi) south of Calgary, and about 2 km (1.2 mi) south of Blackie. The lake is controlled by Ducks Unlimited Canada for wildlife management purposes, and is an Important Bird Area. It is one of four Alberta lakes with the same name.

Thanks for the B.S. tho bud! Appreciate it!

Couple 4 footers on it now too. Maybe have a 5 footer by the end of the weekend, just hope the guides hold up. May just have to upgrade the eyes for next season:sHa_shakeshout:
