Shrink Wrap Boat

Looking at having a dealer shrink wrap my boat for winter storage. They said it would be $4-500.00. Told me that material is expensive and blah blah blah. Blew smoke up ars basically.

Has anyone done the DIY thing or found a decent price to get it done?

For that price I think I would give the Navigloo a try. It's available at Costco and Canadian Tire

I have a nice outdoor shelter that I use, it was only about $200 and very roomy with 4 sides, picked it up at costco

Bad idea. Any moisture in your craft will be trapped and corrosion will occur. Shrink wrap is for transportation of a new unit.

Simple tarp with do the job. Canadian tire

Shrink wrap mine every yr and park out outside, never had a problem with the moisture, I usally get supplies from cratex, couple rolls of shrink tape, the shrink tarp..

If your worried about moisture get a couple of desicant bags and it will take the moisture away...

We wrap out nat gas compressor stations, and store them in the yard, as with our 12 and 16 cyl wakasha engines, no moisture issues with them either..


And its very simple to do a buddie and myself did mine in about a hr with beer breaks cause it gets hot in the garage when tiger torching it..
