33 inch bull trout

Yes I agree it was not the best way to hold it, I guess he was just really excited and just wanted to show us how big it was.

We just used used a trout spinner, no more pics., but that hole also produced a 7lb cutthroat trout a few years back

I do have to speak up on this one, this is bad fish handling, the gills are a delicate structure that should not be touched. I men no disrespect whatsoever but the trout should also be respected. My dad taught me that 50 years ago.

I caught some really nice ones in northern bc where you can keep them. Man oh man bright orange like a salmon and very tasty. Scrappy fish. I will post pics sometime. Caught them on huge blue fox spinners on a ultralight in lake ( still deep water).. what a battle

Congrats on a huge trout , can't imagine how many cuttys he has eaten . Yes he handled the fish wrong , so we had best draw and quarter the guy , at least it said nothing about tossing it in the trees to protect the other fish ..no wonder people quit posting on here .

My point was ....as in bad handling of fish..... he and lots of others. Get it now. Just be respectful of fish and animals. We all make mistakes , me included. Nice picture, that's a great fish. I agree fish handling is important, but people make mistakes and those who are bashing need to put a sock in it, and enjoy the photo, your not helping anyone by bashing their photos on the internet.
