Has anyone fished Chinook lake lately?

Thinking of heading down there for a few days next week. Is it good fishing?
I wasn't sure whether to try there or Beaver Mines, but the later looked like it might be more windy.

Not sure about the lakes but the rivers down in the south west are fishing very well.

I fished the lake last weekend, and it was terrible. Between the two of us, we only managed to catch one little rainbow. I'm not sure if it was the day, but I usually have pretty good luck there.

I think it is getting hit really hard this season.

Everyone I know that has been there this year including myself has had slow days on the water and tons of people on and around the lake.
