Well i was finally able to make it out to Travers this year and it wasnt what i thought it was gunna be but it was still fun. Managed to pull in a few jacks but it wasnt my best day out there. I caught 5 in total my other buddy caught 4 and my other buddy only had 3 bites all day and didnt even get a fish and he was using the same stuff we were. But between us we had about 8 flags that we missed so it wasnt like the fish werent biting. I did lose one big one at the hole due to equipment failure:rolleyes . The biggest of the day was my MASSIVE 29 1/2" pike(just a little sarcasm there). But it was a beautiful day out so it was really wet out and i managed to make a huge lake on the ice by drilling a hole in the wrong spot OOPPS so my feet were wet but it didnt matter since it was so nice out and i was doin enough running to the flags so all in all it was a good day.
Enjoy the Pics!

Was that Saturday Lethal? We drove by and there was a group setup a small distance from the dam with a similar setup. Just curious. We didn't drive down as the edges looked a bit wet, we got skunked at another spot.

Yah we were there Sat was a group of 3 trucks right at the dam there and we were about another 500yds past them with the grey ford. The shore was really mushy definitely 4x4 needed to drive along there, was thinkin of goin to the bay Dodger was thinking of but i didnt want to go to far since it was supposed to be so warm.

Yeah that was my party with the 3 trucks. The fish didn't seem too active. We put 4 on the ice- none legal. Missed a few bites. Water was a bit more clear a few weeks back when we were there. We usually fish farther along too but with the weather figured it best to hang around where we were. Like JRS figures, the pike seem to turn right off when the chinook first blows in. Plus the full moon isn't the best time for pike either. THe ice is gonna go quick there if the wind keeps up with the warm weather, still around 18" or so though.

Hey buck krazy couple questions for yah, how many fish did yah catch and what kind of guns were you guys shootin?? i figured it was a .22 but then there were a couple bigger booms it sounded like i figured them to be more like a .223 or .243? am i close?

We were just pickin off pop cans with the single shot .22 cooey. We also had the 12 gauge single shot cooey. My buddy just got his PAL and was thinkin about buying the shot gun. When we used to fish little bow alot we would bring the clay pigeon thrower and shoot a couple boxes of shells. I caught one pike, missed one. One guy caught one, another guy got 2. I was using bait around 12" looking for the big girls. Its amazing how a pike only 20" long will hit a bait that size!
