Ok Pixel...this one's for you :tongue2:

So the past few months life has been a huge pain in the arse, and I've had very little time to go out and play. That having been said, I managed to get out and do a little fishing last weekend in the mornings.

On Saturday I met up with buckmaster and buckmasterjr around 6, and after a quick McD's stop for a McMuffin and some coffee we were on the road! We got to our destination just shortly after 7 when it was just starting to get light out. Went and took a quick look at the water, and then suited up in our waders and the games began!

Within my first couple casts I had a fish on already, and she was a keeper to boot! Not a bad way to start the morning

So as the morning progressed everybody got into a handful of fish, and I was very much surprised by my second keeper of the day. It put up kind of a lame fight, but just by the weight of it I could tell that it was a decent fish for sure.

Shortly after I got that pig JohninAB showed up for a bit of a visit, and eventually we shut it down around noon.

After Saturday's successful outing I managed to convince silverdoctor that we should head out on Sunday and see if we can't repeat Saturday's success.

Again, we met up around 6, hopped in my truck, hit McD's and then hit the road to be there around first light. We suited up in our waders, hit the water, and were into fish before too long. The action was a little slower than it was on Saturday, but it was still a great morning, and we each got into some fish, including one keeper for silverdoctor

We fished until shortly after 11 and then called it a morning and headed back to town to continue our respective days.

Unfortunately I didn't take as many pics that day :o

That big walleye was a beauty. Too think I love walleye, live 2 minutes from this spot and never ever fished it. Shame on me. Be down there trying for a fresh walleye for the pan sooner than later.

Was damn chilly but a great morning, haven't been out fishing much at all. Thanks Jay for thinking of me.

This one was close to being keeper size.

No, you just gotta be at the right place, at the right time (dark & early) and give it a go.

Breakfast is just the only thing McD's has going for it! :sHa_sarcasticlol:

nice eyes man, looking at the walleye on the bottom seems to have a bit of a bulge in its belly makes me curious what he woofed down.

Looked like mostly chub, with a small burbot in there for variety.
