Spring Lake

The last couple of times i've tried to fish spring lake, two things happened. one i got a photo radar ticket (me bad :o ) and two, i haven't even seen a fish! Has this lake winter killed? or have the fish ben removed by man somehow? I'd like some answers and a way to avoid the photo radar! (I know, I know, slow down.)

now where can i go to get a trout that close to the city?

WEST: Star, Eden, Saur, Chickakoo, East Pit, Muir (muir is closed during the winter months). NORTH: Cardiff, Morinville. EAST: Black Nugget. All these places are within an hours drive of Edmonton.

the aerators are shut off to kill the perch in the lake that were illegally introduced.
