Just wondering how many members purchased supplemental tags this year and how many would commit at least a portion of that meat to a needy family this upcoming holiday season? I don't mean drop it at the food bank, although not a terrible idea either. My thinking is to call or visit your local Christmas Bureau and ask some questions. I believe they would be more than happy to point you in the right direction and possibly even be the go between if you would like to remain anonymous. I know someone who does this with toys and money but I really think the gift of a few good meals from the hunting community would be both well received by those in need and very rewarding to those of us doing the giving. This may already be in action and I just haven't heard. If you have stories, thoughts, or even contacts I would love to see them posted here for everyone.
