Great Weekend

The fish have finally put on the feed bag. Sat. we caught lots of fish but not much for size. Fun morning when you catch over 40 walleye. Sun. morning the big ones were biting. 9 out of the 14 caught would have been keepers. Biggest one of the day was a 30in.x16in. fatty. Even the suckers were taking the jig. We caught all these fish with a jighead and trailer hook tipped with a minnow. Bouncing them behind the boat. This time of year they bite lite. Most fish it was just weight on the line.Time to set the hook.

nice fish! snowing here now so I decided to hang out at home today. heading back down to the sturgeon hole Thursday I think, should be dry at the launch by then. use up all those minnows yet?
