Happy Halloween

For me anyways, :sHa_shakeshout::sHa_shakeshout: hit the SSR today, started out cloudy windy and some rain, makes for a chilly run down the river, on top of feeling like crap. Glad I did, got rained on for half an hour or so, then the clear sky caught up to me, and the wind mostly died down. got some good sized suckers, then hooked into a big fish, had it on for 3 or 4 minutes til it shook itself off, figured just a monster walleye, no big deal. Then I got another bite, set the hook, and got to meet number 200 of the season! :sHa_shakeshout::sHa_shakeshout: wasnt sure I was going to make it, but finally got there, and then 2 more after. No monsters, but Im quite happy to more than double my seasons goal! Totals are in my tagline, no way I thought Id be handling 248 living dinosaurs in one season! Going to be a hard act to follow next year, if I have the same schedule which I doubt, I will do my best, but I think this is going to be the season to remember, big numbers and a top fish of 72.5 inches, not too shabby for Alberta! I do know theres an 80 incher swimming in the system, may have to make her my goal for next season if I can tempt her to cross the border.

sorry my heads been rather more spaced out the usual with this frikkin flu. I want to thank my buddy Dago for all his help,knowledge, and boat trips while mine was down this summer, and my bud T and T.F.H. for his and their help with a reel issue, and for turning me on to Gammakatsu hooks after losing a few good fish due to hook straightening issues. couldnt have done it without you guys, thanks very much! :happy0180:
