Aqua view vs marcum

Hey guys I am going to buy a camera right away. I don't know very much about them and have never used one. My budget is around 600. What is the better camera in your eyes? I really like the marcum because of the included camera panner but it seams like the aqua view is a little cheaper. Thanks

have had my aqua view scout for 7 yrs now, only had to replace the battery once in it and that's all, i did buy one of the marcum electric panners that is a nice little thing to have.

I owned a Marcum, it worked for a few years.

I now own an aqua vu micro (original model) and the camera doesn't work in water under 5 degrees...

talked to another guy who had the same problem, he returned his and bought a flasher. I waited too long to return it so now I'm stuck with it.

Just go Marcum and be happy for ever. Lots of guys have gone from aqua view to marcum...including my self....havent met any yet going the other way.

I have an aqua vu scout, pretty good camera(still use it). Also have mini to hole hop.

Have LX9 (has camera too)now(sold a Marcum 825 to help pay for it). Still have another Marcum 825 and a Marcum 820 B&W.

Marcum is worth it, best out there! Buy the Marcum! Another hundred or so, gets you the 825.

I have a blast with the cameras.

DO NOT BUY AN AquaVu!

The older versions of the AquaVu camera system were build well, but the new ones are crap. I was dead set last year to buy one of the AquaVu 760CZ and did. I went through 3 cameras with different issues and then just bought a Marcum VS385C.

A little later on I was at the store and the sales person showed me what the insides of the AquaVu looked like. The insides had poorly made boards and the parts were hot glue together. So glad I have a Marcum!

I've been happy with my marcum stuff.
Although I don't bother with my camera much since I discovered how wicked a flasher is .... I won't fish without my marcum LX5

i own a marcum and everyone i have fished with seems to agree the picture is much better especially when fishing in low light conditions or in deep water.

i bought a vexilar fl 20 flasher i cant wait to give it a try!

Go with the Marcum forsure. I have an old vs380 that still works like new never a hiccup. Next color camera I buy will only be a marcum too. Great fun forsure:)

Thanks guys. I bought the 825. It has a small spot on the screen where you can see a discolouration. I think I might have to trade it in for a different one. But I am supper happy I got the big one. The wife almost convinced me the six was good enough. Made that mistake with my tv lol. Thanks again guys
