So I know it's a little late to do, but what exactly needs to be done?

Basically just fuel stableizer in the tank and run till empty right?

drain the leg oil and put fresh stuff in too.

Don't need to run till empty. Just long enough to insure enough of treated fuel gets run through the motor. Pulling the plugs and fogging the cylinders is a good if not must do item as well. Be sure all water is drained.

Change the engine oil and filter as well...

I would say either full or empty fuel tank as if its half with temperature and humidity changes you can get condensation in the tank and that's not good either.

If there is a battery pull it out and put it somewhere warm as well. As well as try and charge it a few times over the winter to get the best life out of it.
