Yep. The knowledge gained on a trap line will far outstrip any from hunting. I don't know a trapper worth his salt that isn't more observant than any other outdoor activist.

It is a great way to rid yourself of all that extra cash you got laying around and getting in the way. Traplines are the black-hole of money, lots goes in, none comes out.
Perfect for liquidating assests!!

Last year I spent around $4000 and made about $1700. Now I'm still starting out so I had alot of gear to buy. This year I hope to break even and may see a small profit. If you're in it for the money forget about it. You need to be it because you love it!
