has anyone fished there lately, is there any keepable perch in the lake

I've never caught a decent perch out of there, thousands of them in the 2-3'' range catchable with #20 flies in summer (i was bored). Did you try pike fishing? It used to get down right ridiculous this time ofyear, flags up every few minutes. Lots of 2-3lb pike.
