Could anyone enlighten me on how to get to Bearspaw Dam in Calgary to fish? I know about the Bearspaw Dam Road that follows the Bow up to the construction pit. But is there any access above the dam or do you just drive as far as you can on the road and then walk past the dam?
I've been looking at Google maps and it looks like Calling Horse Dr on the south side of the reservoir goes right up to the river but it's hard to tell if it's a private road or not.
