Anyone been out to any of the lakes around Fort McMurray?

gregiore was frozen over last week, not sure how thick the ice is though.. gonna try and check it out tommorow

Nice, working tomorrow but hopefully will get a chance to go for a drive and drill some holes Sunday. I'll let you know what I find out if you don't beat me to it

Didn't walk on or anything so can't say how thick it is right now but didn't see a soul on the lake - did see some sled tracks though. I would think there would be some decent ice made over the last week considering the temps we've had.

Did you ice anything? Went out there during the summer to check it out but never did end up fishing it

No, I only dropped a line for about 10 mins, wind was bad out there and the hole kept getting blown over. I didn't bring much gear thoug, really just went for a drive to drill holes and let my dogs run around. It is usually really well stocked, any time I've gone they are pretty much non stop.
