First ice rainbows

first time on the ice this year, out to my usual spot. Ice was 3-6" with water on top, not as bad as last year, but sketchy enough i wouldnt take kids out yet. This place has winterkilled 3 years in a row, and probably will again this winter. Nice day to be out, didn't mind the slow bite. 5 in 2 hrs. Be careful out there.
