Thanks to the fine folks at SRD changing the limits on Utikima after we had our best year ever, my buddies and I are venturing out to a new lake to do our annual 3 day ice fishing trip. Just not worth a four hour drive for 1 walleye.

We've got Turtle Lake Sask in mind and I was hoping a fellow AO member might have some advice on where we could set up a winter camp on shore. Looks like the map shows crown land to the north end of the lake. We have an outfitter tent and a couple of trucks/quads we'll need to park.

Thanks in advance.

(Oh and if anyone is so inclined a general idea of where to start drilling holes would also be appreciatied)

the north end is alot of muskeg type ground but it is crown land, there is good fishing up in that end as well. If you are looking for Walleye head over to Indian Point and Golden Sands area.

Watch out for the lake monster you don't want that coming up the hole into your tent
