Hey guys, just thinking of going ice fishing tomorrow, I have a couple lakes in mind but wondering if they are safe to go, the ones I was thinking of was Keho (someone said there was 5-6 inches but wondering if that is still true) was also thinking of pine coulee reservoir. But just wondering where I could go that has good ice, open to suggestions as well
Thanks in advance

was at mcgregor today, 6" of ice. I'd imagine pretty much everywhere is good to go if there's that much on big mac

I got skunked today and so did 3 other guys I talked to. I did have one bite on a pike rig farther out from the dam at 9am.
Good luck wherever you go!

Check out my reply to Flieguy re: his Macgregor "tomorrow" post. I plan to explore Langdon Res tomorrow - have heard enough rumours over the years to give it a look-see before the rotten weather hits Monday. I have heard of potential for jacks, perch, and maybe whites and walleyes.
Anyone have experience at Langdon Res?

Very large more accessible pike in winter than summer. Never heard on the other species, but , not many people I know fish it. I haven't fished it in sometime and it's probably not a half hour drive for me.

I was on langdon today with no luck, had the fish finder down and didnt mark anything in 2.5 hrs. Lots of good solid ice 8 inches or so and I accessed from the outflow near the dam construction. Good luck and let me know how you make out. Tight lines

Fished langdon resovoir years ago and seen a guy pull a pike out...From what I know, Pike are the only species in there....Unless I hear other wise
I am 10 minutes away but would rather drive an hour to a lake
