Been sledding and quading on it for a while now. Took my pickup on it yesterday. I am hoping to have the balls to cross the middle of it with truck tomorrow. Over a foot thick in places.

Hope your joking, we may be saying our condolences to your family.

No I won't. Theory says it is safer towards the middle. Common sense says not to. Plus there is so much wind, underwater movement and other variables that probably make it not work here.

How much snow is there on the ice? Enough to take a snowmobile and sleigh out there?

There was about 12-14" of ice with about a half a foot of snow and some wind blown areas. There was one guy on the ice with his sled. We decided to walk on but one guy was telling us someone had been driving on the ice a few days earlier. I would give it a week or 2 before I decide to drive on there.

We had a slow day but did manage a few walleye. We were in about 8-12' of water.

Any updates on the ice? Any flood water?

Thanks!
