Spray lakes

Anyone been out there lately??? How is the bite?. Headin out somewhere tomorrow. There or Crawling valley. Not sure yet. Didn't get out last week when wanted to, so pumped

We were at Spray a few days ago, it was -21C and very gusty. We had a few on the line but only one on the ice after a couple of hours fishing. The ice was good, 6-7".

I sure hope the weather is nice on Sunday because I will be there at dawn.

We were out on Saturday, 5 inches of ice in the middle of the lake.

Very disappointed with the amount of fish we saw on flasher, camera and the bites were way down.

Keen to hear if they aren't in our spot yet, or if the numbers of fish are down due to the flood. Sparrowhawk access is washed out badly, flipped our sleds on the way in and out.

I hope it isn't as bad as I think it is.

I have never fished off sparrow hawk, is it better then drift wood?

I have done much better for both whites and lakers at Sparrowhawk. However, from what I have been told the access at Sparrowhawk is horrible because of the flood so it might be time to learn Driftwood a bit better.
