Trucks on Newell yet?

I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is access to Newell from Jackfish Bay, or seen tire tracks on the ice. I plan on driving 2 hours to get there this weekend and am curious what the lake looks like.

big, flat, :bad_boys_20: lots of deep drifts around the area, havent checked JF for a couple weeks, but no way Id drive on unless someone bigger did first . maybe in a week or two

Thanks Wayne for the info, did you happen to know if the main drag for the south campsites is passable? I'm thinking of dragging my sled by hand onto the lake there, i imagine the ice forms well there.

you should be able to walk out from both places, the lease road into the Jackfish access should be fairly easy to drive into
