Just wondering if anybodys been to Long Lake ( By Boyle ), how much ice, how much snow, any overflow.

FIL was out there 1.5 weeks ago, said he had 4" of ice where he drilled.

Water was clear, saw/caught nothing... Blames the East wind... :)

Was one my my favorite lakes too, haven't fished it in years. Grandparents used to have a place there when I was growing up. This is where fishing began for me. Anyone still get the decent perch in there?

Still perch there but tey are picky...lots of walleye

My daughter caught her first 2 fish at Long Lake this past summer. 2 casts back to back on a spinning rod. Daddy cast it for her, she reeled in, hook set and fought the fish all on her own. Was a PROUD moment for me!(3 years old!)

My happiest memory at that lake was watching Incredigirl catch walleye after walleye - it was all I could do to retrive/unhook them - As soon as I was able to cast again, she'd have another one on the line...

And she wonders why I'm so crazy about her. :D

Was there on the weekend...Lots of surface water, hard to get around on sleds. To much surface water at the narrows to even try fishing there. Caught 1 jack. Looked like there may have been some people at the campground area, but didnt go there.

Dad and I got out there today, about 10" of ice. Lots of overflow, we got 6 nice perch, pretty slow.
