Ok guys I've been thinking about this one and would like any input you got.

What do you use for ice fishing big trout without bait....
Not cookie cutter trout.... Not your best corn/velvetta presentation .

I admit I haven't really tried this before but from previous experiences I might try
-jigging a lil Cleo
-jigging a setup with small spoon (flasher) with a fly tied a few inches below
-rapala jigs...
- maybe jigging a naked jig?

So what do you , or would you try? Thnx

I don't know about big trout but I had lots of luck last year on flies, leeches in particular. I fished them as a dropper under a jig.

Go light with your line weight and try beaded, cone-head, or bar-belled leach patterns just remember leaches move slow... think catatonic!

Beatle, pattern slow jerky lift to the ice surface, long freefall to the bottom. Ive experienced winter trout stuffed full of Beatles.

Lake Trout = Buzz Bomb

Rainbows = your favorite small fluttering spoon
