Full moon rising, should have been a great day for catching, but with the crazy wind blowing in as usual the fish were few and far between. Anyone have ideas, facts, guesses where the fish go when the winds blow? Im thinking they may head deep as they can to avoid some of the pressure changes, but thats just a guess. usually swarming with perch where I fished today, maybe saw 20 or so tiny ones all day.

You are very correct. When the chinooks blow in it causes the barameter pressure to go nuts and it has quite the affect on fish. So the fish head deep where the barametric pressure does not have the same affect as in shallow water, and where things are more stable. But the fish become lathargic and turned off when they move deep. Learnt this from a fish bioolgist years ago.

They went to my hook! Was a great day for me and somehow I managed to find a spot down here that wasn't windy... mean while 15 km's away at another lake it was blowing like a hurricane. Go figure!
