Ice fishing near Slave

Just wondering if anyone has been out in the area? Heard of a few guys walking out on slave but was wondering about utikama or any of the smaller lakes. Thanks

Slave is walk out only as far as I have heard. The rental shacks are out but no one is driving in yet. That's just what I've heard and I know I wouldn't be driving on there yet it's a tricky lake sometimes.

Maybe I'm missing something but how would the fishing guide know the ice thickness this time of year????

Thanks guys and yeah sparky I think you are right. There always has to be one! Wasn't seeing any reports for this area and thought I would ask as this is a chat forum right! I will be sure to post anything I hear of.

Was working at Faust yesterday.....asked a couple old timers. Ice is about 1 foot thick. They said they will be taking their ice fishing shacks out during Christmas.
