i just tied up some worms for gull...brass...red...copper...brown...some with bead head...some not.....
What are the best colors you have found that work? I will pick some up...

what? Man you say you tie your own Gear and you dont know what Chartreuse is...
definately a hot colour, but dont leave out the more natural colours. alot of the time colour is totally irrelevant, its presentation. if fish are consistantly turning their nose..switch it up. Not seeing any.. MOVE and im not talking 30yards deeper. lol :)

one thing ive noticed is that the bead headed wire worms seem to do better. little more weight gives it better action.

I've always had good luck with yellow and orange. I gotta get me a few more for my collection. :)

i have had good luck with copper colour too. For the record, chartreus tastes awful, but the colour does work good, lol.:bad_boys_20:

Wire worms are cheep, by a few of every color, then you have options when they aren't biting...

ones i use are plastic, got the idea from a friend who slays whites on gull all the time.

I know the glass beads are allot heavier than the plastic so can make a difference in some applications.

Bright colors, work in general .............. tie on a black one next time things slow down .....
