is the blue green algae still affecting Travers?

At my morning coffee I was saying I was going to head to badger and Travers and a guy said don't do Travers because of the blue green algae. My thoughts were the cold would clean it up. Is there any new info on this? All I could find was the original warnings in August and then a September update.

blue-green algae blooms generally occur between mid-June and late September, although in rare instances, blooms have been observed in winter, even under the ice.

Fried up a couple pike last weekend from there and neither I nor my father are sick. Im quite sure the cold water will have deteriorated it.
