chin lake and keho reports?

gone a couple times to middle road crossing pretty slow, Any good times to head out? really early make any difference? wasnt trying but all ive been getting are small wallys...buddy got a decent pike... looking for pike and wallys... tips or areas to try would be great... havent been to keho yet either this year...

X2 on Chin Lake. Was out there about a week ago (straight south of Taber by the bridge on highway 36), without much luck.

I talked to a fella that lives out by keho and i guess they are saying to stay off the lake due to ice thickness. I dont know how true that is but just what i heard.

I was out at keno around December 12. Ice was close to a foot thick. I don't care about these warm days, it won't disappear that quick this time of year. Should be just fine. I am headed there tomorrow morning.

Started off crappy as the clouds rolled and wind picked up. Once the sun showed up and wind died off it was game on! A lot of pike. Biggest was only 34" but on a plus note we landed 5 over 30". Ice was over a foot thick.

I was at keho all day saturday. Started slow in the morning and never did get really hot action but did catch a few. That breeze was nasty if you didn't have shelter. 14 inches of good ice where we were.
