So just got back and was not overly impressed with the quality of the fishing compared to Cuba last year. I fished my butt off attempting different techniques, lures etc but hey thats fishing. I had the fish count above twenty before I stopped counting. Believe it or not the Len Thompson #2 red and white and combined with a silver super duper really had the fish hitting. Next time I am bringing bigger lures in a silver color combination to mimic bait fish which seemed to be what the cuda preferred (only had one on that snapped off). Caught yellow tail and a lot of Banana fish which the locals cussed at. A long brown colored fish with rows of sharp teeth. Overall nice sunrises and hey tropical fishing at plus 30 was better than the minus 35 that we received when we got back.
