The wind final quit blowing so it's game on. Been trying to up my fish I've got measured in the derby. The fish are getting real fussy what they eat. Got it figured out, that all they would take is a half a minnow on the smallest 5 of diamonds. Had lots just come up and bump the bait with there nose. Then the next walleye would come in and slam the minnow. Same with the perch, most would swim by. Then one would come in and hit it. I can see why there fussy they are well feed already.

Glad the wind calmed down for you, it sure didn't for me today. Some nice ones there Dago.

Took 4 days on the ice. But time well spent. 25 " and fat. Got to watch her come in and smack the minnow.

Nice catch! Not trying to derail your thread but I know we fish some similar lakes. I have yet to pull out a walleye through the ice but haven't tried overly hard either. But when you are targeting walleye this time of year would you go to the same spots as summer time or are they in different areas this time of year?
I usually go to shallow bays for pike this time of year would there be walleye there?
