Calling lake ice report?

Just looking for a ice/ flood water report for calling lake.

Calling has about 14" of solid black ice with about 2ft of snow on top of it. A couple inches of water came up when we drilled some holes. There was some areas of some soft ice but it didn't seem like it was a problem for the snowmobilers.

Any updates on ice/flood water conditions? Looking to take advantage of the good weather tomorrow, but I don't have a sled. Planning to use the quad (easier to dig out if necessary).

When we were there the ice was probably 18 inches and about the same or more in snow. Few patches of flood water but nothing major. No trucks were out at all.

Ice is getting better all the time as the melt has dropped the snow by at least 1/2. Not much flood water, but lots of slush.

Fish were biting in - 40, but the bite has slowed down a lot with the full moon and the weather change.

Commercial opening starts Sunday for 10 days, so watch for ice blocks.

i fished tuesday, it was slow but turned on in the evening. i found the ice conditions the same as posted above. I had a sled out there. some big heaves getting on at the east side of the lake.

Cant comment as of late I was out two weekends ago and there were zero truck tracks ...a quad had accessed from the PP.
