Does anybody use these ice fishing? My bell just isn't cutting it and I saw this at TFH:

100 db seems really loud - you'd hear that all over the lake, wouldn't you? I don't use tip-ups but I'd want one for a dead stick, if it makes a difference.

Thanks.

One of my buddys has something like that .

When the tip up spins from its set position, it will Alarm, However he had a fish spinning that thing so fast it wasn't letting the alarm go off lol lol

As for the one you posted, Ive seen them but never tried myself ,

I like using bells,

But recently I found a set of bells At WSS Edmonton, They are green and have a very tight clasp on them, these bells work great , I find this cheap screw on bells do nothing !

Hope that helps ya out !

I go to the dollar store and buy those little alarms that attach to your door jam and your door and when the door is opened an alarm is set off. I find that only about half of them work but for $1 each it's still cheap. Figure out a way to attach those to your tip-ups etc. and you'll love how thrifty you were! They really do work great.

Used those during open water for dead sticking and it worked really well. Would be much better if it lite up and had sound together. Wasn't overly sensitive so the wind didn't bother it too much and it worked well to detect light bites.
