I was wondering if anyone is driving on at Carson, I haven't heard anything about it for a while now.

Post on our local Facebook last week said no. Not a lot of ice covered with lots of floodwater and then a lot a lot of snow.

Was out today , the road down to the boat launch has not been plowed, there is still about 6 in of flood water, and about a foot of snow, there is only about 7 in of good ice and about the same in slush ice , I am not sure that anyone will be driving on anytime soon

Enough of a crust to walk on just under the 4" of snow. About 4" of slush and about 16" of ice. But wasn't able to tell the quality of the ice, too dark out.

Will walk on this weekend to fish.

Walking on virgin snow pulling a sled is a huge workout. I don't line-up along the boardwalk like most do........it's a struggle getting out there away from the crowd.

I remember fishing Carson a few times and having to make an island to stand on to get out of the flood water. Looks like it's one of those years.

Heard a truck drove around a barrier and wentt through the ice before christmas.
