Hey has anyone had any success there recently? I was there this afternoon for a few hours and never even had a nibble. I got almost every hook wet in my arsenal for species in thier including smelt and tipup for pike but couldn't get them to play today:( still great day. Ice was about 12" half white half black. About 3" of flood water but not too bad. I then tried out star lake on way home and at least had a fish jump out of water in my hole while setting up another rod 20' away. Lol I think it went for the little chunk of trout dough I dropped in water beside my line. I just heard my bell and heard a splash and went over to check but it never had my hook so thinking it went for the dough instead of my small minnow. After that not a bite. Ice at star was about 8" of black and 5 of white. Plus all the snow of course. Fun but unsuccessful day. Roads were horrible. Can't wait to get out and try again:)
