Need to catch fish

So I have a bet with a friend that involves me trying to get them into fishing. Was hoping to get out next weekend and was wondering if there's somewhere near Calgary that has been producing well lately. How have the potholes such as Dewitts been doing? Any luck lately?

If you want lots of fish go to Chain lakes, they are biting like crazy and constantly at the south end.

I know its a little farther away but ive been catching 14" trout out a Payne lake the last 2 times ive been out there.
