Mid August BC fishing suggestions..??

So I'm heading to the coast mid August for a salmon fishing trip and was tinkering with the idea of making a side trip or two on the way up or back...
Ill b traveling with the wife and two young kids but interested in any suggestions...
So if you where to fish somewhere from Calgary to the island where would it be and for what?
Was thinking sturgeon on the Fraser ... Steelhead would b fun to try.. Dunno about the time of year and runs so any suggestions are welcomed and appreciated

What are you looking for C&R, keeping, salt, fresh, species, fly, gear, guided, or solo? You have a huge verity in options in that stretch.
