Gull Lake (Brownlows)

Thinking of heading out fishing Saturday to Gull (Brownlows), just wondering how the fishing is and if you access the lake by vehicle?

Sure can. I even saw a few cars on the lake today........and I thought I was nuts driving on with a front wheel drive suv. Lol. Fishing was slow but got a few perch , 1 whitey and saw a walleye. Was out for 2 1/2 hrs early afternoon.

was out on Gull today. The warm weather has melted most of the snow but there is almost no flood water at all. Driving on is easy even without a huge 4x4. My son and I limited out on keeper sized perch but must have caught 50 of them throughout the day that weren't worth keeping. From approx. 2-4 you could barely get your hook to the bottom before it was in a perch's mouth. Also took home 2 very nice burbs.

i fished all day at brownlows friday...caught 5 perch...missed 30...all real small i moved my shack out further.....maybe more luck......
