Well me and few friends headed out to my cabin for the weekend to fish our faces off. We caught lot of fish. Managed to fill some walleye tags and I caught a pretty good pike. We didn't have a scale but place her somewhere in the 17-20 lbs range. The weight calculator we used said she should have been 19.6lbs and I don't think she's quite there. The part I was pumped about is I caught that pike on my ultra light perch rod with 4 lbs line. It was an amazing fight. 20 min.

congrats on that monster. on 4 lbs. test without a leader? you must have been sweating (and praying).
by the way, don't you have something more important to do then go fishing? lol.

Real nice pike, Congrats. I did the same with my biggest pike, 13 lbs at Spencer lake many moons ago. Fishing for walleye with a ice fishing rod and a small jig. Was almost asleep in the noon sun when I felt a bite, set hard and hooked it in the edge of the lip. I agree it is a fun fight with such a small rod. Nothing better than seeing that big head swim by the hole for the first time. Mine went back to swim again as well.
