Yup, lol. I saw nearly 2ft earlier this month. Southeastern Alberta in the middle of winter... you'll see some ice.

What? Its frozen?? :angry3:
How will I ever get the boat launched??
We are looking at half a dozen trucks coming out. Its ALWAYS a good idea to inquire about a body of water you are not real familiar with. But thanks for all the help bud....

Was on Clear last Friday. Not such a good day for me. But the fellas all had a good day. Its my own fault I hung nothing but monster baits that day. Was shooting for quality not quantity. Got neither.....

What about driving across the deep section, east to west, towards the islands? I drove it last year, following tracks and was fine.
I am taking the ram power. Got a lift and studded tires should be OK. Planning on staying overnight anyways. If she gets stuck we set up camp, build a fire and break out the whisky.

if the drifts are anything like Newell's it will be pretty tame. was breaking trail last weekend no problem with just a 4x4 dakota.
