Pretty good day at Chain Lakes

Went out to chain lakes today (nanton) and got there around 8:30 am. Set up and in the first 20 minutes had a trout pulled up.. Then for the next two or aso hours my partner caught 6..And then the next the rest of the day I caught 7 more and he caught 2 more! Broke the tip of my ultra light rod though... :sign0176: but ill repair it. All on Velveeta. They would only take it when it was directly laying right on the bottom though:confused0024:...They've definitely gotten a bit smarter since the last time i was there! (2 years ago) Lots of fish on the cam, trout and suckers. Caught three suckers too. Sometimes it was hit and miss.. very light bites, but some of them hit it hard. All in all it was a good day.:sHa_shakeshout: Ice was approx. 15-17 inches. Lots of people were out today.
