Day of fishing turns into a deer attack!

The deer only attacks a few times but it´s more of a loving nature in my opinion. Strange day of fishing though lol.

It appears to be a fawn of the year, possibly a yearling doe.

This was shot in Oregon, not Sitka Island. I have shot a couple Blacktails over 300lbs live weight. Mainland Blacktails are generally much larger than their Island dwelling cousins.

Probably raised around people and dogs. It knows how to handle a dog for sure.

ive had a similar experience on the athabaska with two foxs, not petting them but would come within arms length and hung ariund as we moved about the river.
