Spent the weekend fishing lac la biche and helping/guiding a bunch of Youngsters out there. Terrible ice conditions for skidoos. Good for quad, truck or side by side. Really good ice 27 inches or so. Good and black.. water clarity pretty crappy about 6 feet on my lx 9. Landed about 25 walleye myself biggest around the 9lb mark, got a good pike and we lost 2 high teens pike. Lots of the kids got there first walleyes..Lots of eyes in the 4-6 lb range and one 6.9. Water depth 16 feet, larger fish caught on 4 inch wabbler very aggressive bites on Saturday, Sunday they were very passive... weird prime time Saturday was 10-1230 .. 230-5. No night bite... I will add a pic of my pike, one of the youngsters walleye and a video of a 5lber. Saturday was by far a 50 big fish day if I had a couple hardcore fisherman with me, non the less it was great to guide and help the youngsters slay some fish. Check this eve for pics and video.

Nice fish and pics! I want to bring quad as it is way more convenient than sled. A few weeks ago there was floodwater around....I am guessing now it is all froze up?

Sorry, I should've been more specific. I'm not sure what it's called, but it's the one in the far north west corner of the lake

If you have 4x4 you will be okay anywhere from what I saw. The launch ramp down in the bay is a bit rutted up but I think they made two trails...
