Beginning on Saturday I am headed out to Revelstoke continuing on to Victoria on Tuesday. I know this is an Alberta forum, and I do blather about some of the fishing in bee cee at times, but I habitually fish the eastern slope and sometimes it trickles into "The best place on earth" ...:rolleye2: The fishing is good and I hope I am safe to assume, like you I have friends there.

Fishing has been great out there in Revvy reportedly, the dollies are coming in bigger than last year. Curious to know if any of you gents fish out in that area as frequently as I do. If so what do you fish for and where?

It's been a great season here in Alberta, one of the more memorable years for me. Hope you all had a great season, and bring on that hard water!!!:D:D:D:D

Nice dolly for sure,
Fisher have you ever headed south of Revy to Trout Lake. We fish there the first week in may every year, lots of 5+ pound dollys..

I have a place near there. instead of heading south on the 31 to Trout. Turn left and head downhill to Beaton. I have never fished Trout Lake but have heard the stories from Nancy for years. Would be more than happy to trade a place to stay for a day out on the Lake.

We are on the water on the upper arrow with a launch 5 minutes away. Waaay under fished arm. No boats, maybe 10-15 guys all year long fish this arm.

Thats a beauty , I bet your havin alot of fun. You doing more fishing as you head west ? Good luck on the rest of your trip.

Yeah John I am headed today to the Fraser Valley, then onto the island.

In that pic, which was taken yesterday we caught 6 Dollies all over 5 lbs. I snapped off on one that had me fighting for ten minutes and was no where near done. Rolled onto a sunken stump and bang, one for the fishing stories.
